2012 “Aiviq” – This combined AHTS and icebreaker
is designed for ultra-harsh weather conditions.
She can cut through at least a meter of ice at a speed of 5 knots.
Anchor laying for drilling rigs is the vessel’s primary purpose,
but “Aiviq” is also equipped to handle oil spill clean-up.
