Today, the term «Corporate Governance» is used to describe the
framework of rules and practices by which a Board of Directors
ensures accountability, fairness and transparency in a company’s
relationship with its stakeholders (customers, management,
employees, government, community and owners).
In 1992, before the term «Corporate Governance» was commonly
used, Brunvoll’s owners drew up a shareholders’ agreement which
proved to be ahead of its time. It was based on a clear understanding
of the company’s responsibilities to the main stakeholders.

At Brunvoll we secure good corporate governance by encouraging
and maintaining close communication between the owners, the
Board of Directors and Management based on openness, mutual
respect and co-operation – with an underlying long-term,
value-added perspective. At the same time, we wish to inspire
open and honest communication in all the relationships in which
the company is involved.
Our new head office at Årø, Molde, named the Brunvoll
Competence Center will be completed in the spring of 2016.
The Center will provide an improved framework for our
activities. It is up to us – the people of Brunvoll – to ensure that
we make the most of this investment to benefit us all. We trust
this new center will enable us to further strengthen the
relationships with all Brunvoll stakeholders, and make us an
even better company in the future.
