The Brunvoll Combined Retractable Azimuth/Tunnel Thruster is of special interest
for advanced fishing vessels (To the right: “Gitte Henning” with one unit in the bow),
product tankers, seismic vessels, shuttle tankers operating in heavy seas and
emergency “take-home” propulsion.
Brunvoll Combined Retractable Azimuth/Tunnel Thrusters were chosen for 2 Knutsen
NYK newbuildings (illustration above) for delivery in 2014 – with two in the bow and
two in the stern.
